Stress-induced corrosion crack in inconel tubing for a nuclear reactor steam generator

The crack appears as a horizontal lack of density (black). The crosshairs show the x-axis and y-axis lines for the pixel intensity profile of the crack.

The y-axis (vertical) profile below quantifies
the depth of the crack (deep dip to the left) in the center of the tubing.
