Corporation, founded as a California Corporation in 1981, manufactures and markets a
patented breakthrough enabling technology for high resolution radiography.
The Reverse Geometry X-ray® (RGX®) system sets a new standard for
excellence:
- 100% computer-controlled
- real-time imaging in 2- or 3-D at up to 160kV
- Motionless CT (Laminography) for layer-by-layer viewing (also
patented) to find the exact location of, and eliminate obstructions from, features of
interest
- 10 inch diameter field of view
- miniature detector (1/8th inch diameter)
- 45 degree freedom of alignment
- configurable field of view
- motionless zoom and pan
- Internet viewable imaging (TIF files)
Other Digiray®
customers and partners include
- NASA (aging aircraft and electronics inspection)
- United States Air Force (advanced composites and metal structure of
aircraft)
- National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)
- British Ministry of Defence
- a multinational corporation in the energy sector
- a leading construction inspection company
- a leading advanced composites manufacturer
- Boeing (High Speed Civil Transport and the Space Shuttle)
The system can inspect aircraft, spacecraft, and aerospace structures
without the costly removal of wings, helicopter or windtunnel blades.
Major oil companies and nuclear power plants value RGX® for detecting corrosion under insulation
which speeds up inspection time by a factor of 10.
Digiray® is
conveniently located near San Francisco, Oakland, and Silicon Valley (San Jose).
Digiray®'s
highly-skilled specialists manufactures complete systems including
- scanning x-ray tubes
- electronic controls
- user-friendly software for image acquisition and image enhancement
Systems are available as
- portable units for aircraft hangars, runways,
factories, and power plants
- laboratory cabinets for samples up to several feet long
- robotic gantries for large parts, such as aircraft
wings
- mobile models for rugged outdoor environments
Digiray Corporation is looking for commercial partners
in the following areas:
- medical imaging
- reduced dosage
- Motionless Laminography X-ray (MLX®)
- the world's only portable CAT scanner
- diffraction (residual stress analysis)
- inspection service (aerospace, construction, chemical,
power)
- security (baggage inspection, explosives detection)
